钴是粘结相:其比例越高,牌号越韧、硬度越低。晶粒度与之共同作用 — 超细晶粒可在提高钴含量的同时保持硬度。决定各牌号应用范围的是这两个变量的组合,而非钴含量本身。
各列按牌号的 ISO 513 分类排列,由硬至韧:K05–K10 用于精加工与耐磨,K10–K20,K20–K30 用于通用加工,K20–K40 用于粗加工与广泛适用。
